This gmc truck has been in my family for 16 years. My dad bought this truckbrand spanking new in may 2001 from freedom buick/gmc in odessa, texas (dry &arid region of texas). He drove this pickup for over 10 years and put 100,000miles on it. After his stroke at the end of 2011, i bought the truck and duringthe past 6 1/2 years, my son & i have put another 96,000 miles on this sierra. However, the isstrong (i pulled a trailer full of furniture from waxahachie to abilene and backa few weeks ago and the truck did great!). The interior has never been smoked inor flooded, and the cloth interior looks great! There are very few signs ofwear. The passenger side window doesn't roll down (cable system broke), buteverything else works well. My son added a new jvc car stereo that has an auxjack to play music. I just had the truck inspected andregistered in ellis county (through 5/2018). Plus, i just put on 4 brand newcooper tires (255/70 r16) from discount tire in arlington. This truck has neverbeen involved in any accident other than my son tagging a tree with both thefront and rear bumpers while camping. Just toreiterate, this truck has spent it's entire life in inland texas, so thereis zero undercarriage rust. Its annoying, but i just haven't spent the time to solve the problem. For complete listing information please select the click to bid button to see this item on ebay. 2001 gmc sierra 2500hd crew cab, slt, leather heated power seats, compass, thermometer, onstar, 4 wheel drive, posi-traction rear axle, cab clearance lamps. Please look at the photos of the truck. This was a southern truck and there is no rust on the rocker panels, cab corners, box sides, and bottom of doors. The interior is like new and looks like a low mileage car interior. This truck has never had a fifth wheel hitch. Tires are michelin 265 75 16 and are in excellent condition. When i purchased the truck, the transfer case was drained and not refilled causing damage and the dealer paid for a new one. Also, the engine ran great and the oil pump spring failed around 120k miles and caused damage to the low end. A new engine was installed with three year unlimited mileage warrantee on the engine. There is over a year of that warrantee left and i was told it is transferrable for $50. 00. I will double check to confirm. Basically both engine and transfer case have around 10k miles on them. For the warrantee to apply we had to put in a new gm radiator and water pump. The belts where replaced along with the plugs and wires and fuel filter. Transmission was flushed and the front and rear differential grease was change. The truck is extremely tight. Drives straight down the road and no abnormal wear on the tires. The truck is all stock. No modifications other than the smooth painted wheel flares which were originally black textured. There is over $16k invested in this truck and i realized i will likely not get that back. Power Seats
